Whether you are an attorney looking to give back or a community member with a passion for justice, your time and skills are invaluable to us. By volunteering, you help us reduce barriers to the legal system and make a real difference in the lives of our neighbors.

For Attorneys & Legal Professionals

PSSS offers a unique and efficient way for attorneys to perform pro bono work. We handle the time-consuming administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on what you do best. Your expertise can provide crucial support to those who need it most.

• Pro Bono Legal Clinic: Join us for our recurring legal clinics. PSSS pre-screens clients and prepares all relevant documents beforehand, so you can provide focused, brief consultations on specific procedural questions without the need for a full case review.

• Referral Program: Partner with us on a referral basis. We will refer prepared clients to you for limited-scope representation, such as reviewing and signing the Attorney's Certificate for free process, as we discussed. This model is perfect for attorneys who want to assist with a clear, defined task.

For All Other Volunteers

You don't have to be a lawyer to help! We have a wide range of opportunities for community members to contribute their time and skills. Your support is vital to our daily operations and our ability to reach more people.

• Administrative Support: Help us keep our operations running smoothly by assisting with data entry, organizing files, and other office tasks.

• Workshop & Event Assistance: Volunteer at our educational workshops by helping with event setup, greeting attendees, and distributing materials.

• Community Outreach: Be a PSSS ambassador! Help us spread the word about our services by distributing flyers, managing social media, and attending local community events.

• Fundraising & Grant Research: Assist our team with research on potential grants or help with our fundraising campaigns to ensure the long-term sustainability of our mission.

• Client Intake: Help with the initial client intake process, greeting visitors and guiding them through the first steps of our services.
